Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL)

What is PBL?

Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) is a school wide program that encourages positive behaviours from all students through the use of a shared language to discuss behaviour and learning expectations at our school. PBL involves the school community working together to help students connect, succeed and thrive.

At Hambledon we strive to develop our students as future-focussed learners and citizens.

What are focus areas?

At Hambledon Public School we encourage students to be safe, respectful and responsible citizens, and to achieve their goals by developing the qualities of a good learner.

Each week, a particular focus area is presented to all classes by their SRC representatives during eating time on a Monday. The focus area message is reinforced in classes throughout the week.

You can see the weekly focus displayed in your child's classroom and in other areas around the school such as the library, computer lab, hall and office.
