Hambledon Public School has a merit system in place to encourage the positive behaviours for both a citizen and a learner.
Students receive Crikey Awards for earing 40 'checkpoints' on their in-class checkpoints chart.
Once students have earned 3 Crikey Awards they receive a Pearl Award and then work towards achieving each of the White, Black and Red Opal Awards and medallions.
Each Opal Award is attained by earning 3 Pearl Awards.
